	Former Rep. Robin Tallon Jr., D-S.C. (1983-93), has been hired as a principal at Jenkins Hill Consulting LLC, a public affairs, lobbying and political consulting firm. Tallon most recently served as president of Robin Tallon & Associates, a government affairs firm where he lobbied Congress and federal agencies primarily on global trade and finance issues.

	Former Rep. Robin Tallon, D-S.C., is joining Jenkins Hill Consulting LLC, giving the firm a bipartisan look for the first time since its founding in 2004. Tallon, 61, who served in the House from 1983 to 1992, has recently been working in his own lobbying firm, primarily on trade and finance issues in South Korea, China and the Middle East. Jenkins Hill is led by Scott Barnhart, an ex-aide to former Sen. Connie Mack,R-Fla., and 2004 campaign manager for Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla., and BradEdwards, an ex-aide to former Sen. Jesse Helms, R-N.C.

	Jenkins Hill Consulting will be lobbying for Japan Tobacco International USA , King Maker Marketing Inc. and Sherman's 1400 Broadway NYC on Food and Drug Administration regulations on tobacco products. Scott Barnhart, former deputy chief of staff to Rep. Connie Mack (R-Fla.), will be lobbying on the issue.
